Gamechanger Audio Plasma Rack with Xenon Tube, MIDI, Ring Modulator, Tremolo, 3-Band EQ, Clock, Effect Loop Gamechanger Audio Plasma Rack Distortion Module The Gamechanger Audio Plasma Rack is a high-end Distortion Unit that uses high-voltage conversion to process the signal. The 19"/1U Unit is aimed at professional studios and Sound Engineers who appreciate especially hard and biting sounds. By means of a Xenon Gas-Filled Tube the audio signal is converted to 5500V; in principle you play an electric shock. These continuous high voltage discharges in combination with the very natural Noise Gate, the Voltage Regulator and the Mixer produce a very charismatic Distortion sound, which no other manufacturer has been able to deliver so far. The results can be described as extreme, but that is the purpose of this complex circuit. The Equalizer adjusts the sound using Low, Mid and High Controls, making the sound and functionality of this Distortion unique. Applications The range of functions is rounded off by 3x Effect Loops used in the signal path, each of which is Mono and has 6.3mm Jack sockets for connection. There is also a Tremolo Effect that can be synchronized to the MIDI Clock and produces Ring Modulator-like sounds at higher rates. Inputs and Outputs are both Balanced and Unbalanced Jack and XLR Connections.
