The variable Soft clipper, inspired by the legendary alpha compressor, provides more loudness without causing clipping on external A/D converters. Full control over the stereo image With the VariLink function, the bands can be flexibly linked together, allowing targeted processing of the frequency spectrum. Of particular interest to mastering professionals: the variable crossover frequency between the low and mid bands allows precise control over the bass range, while the integrated side-band mono maker(Lowmo) concentrates the low-end on the center of the stereo image - for a powerful and balanced sound foundation. Intuitive operation & high-end display The global release control allows quick adjustment of the compression behavior, making editing intuitive and efficient.
