The speakers are powered by an 80W amplifier for the high frequencies and a 175W amplifier for the mid and low range frequencies. The C8-Reference is a full-range midfield speaker with a frequency response of 35Hz-22kHz. The amplifiers can drive the cones up to 106dB before distortion occurs, meaning these speakers can handle just about any source material you can throw at them!
