It features 32 MIDAS remote mic preamps and 16 balanced analog XLR returns, all connected via a single Cat-5e cable. The S32 was first designed as an extension of Behringer's X32 digital mixing console. Nevertheless, any mixer with MADI, Dante, ADAT or AES50 I / O interface can be connected directly to the powerful S32 set. Connecting the S32 to a mixer creates a powerful combination for remote digital mixing, all in a compact size.
