The elysia xpressor neo is an enormously versatile stereo compressor. With its special functions derived from elysia's flagships, it offers very extensive control options in addition to excellent compression. For example, the attack time can be automatically shortened in Auto Fast mode to catch particularly fast and loud transients, and the release time can be switched between linear and logarithmic decay. Parallel compression and a generously adjustable side chain filter are further parameters that belong to the extended standard of a modern compressor. The Gain Reduction Limiter as well as the negative ratios are innovative functions that elysia has newly developed for its compressors and in combination allow extreme compression effects for creative sound design. In the detector path there is another compression element which limits the control voltage of the compressor. This allows the level reduction to be limited to a conveniently adjustable value in dB.
