Long Neck Tenon & Hide Glue This replica model of the Gibson 1964 SG is based on the historically accurate construction of the '64 SG. The matching instrument consists of a one-piece body made of solid, yet lightweight mahogany and a neck also made of mahogany. This has the traditional long neck heel (Long Neck Tenon) and is glued to the body with glass-hard hide-glue for improved resonance behavior. Last but not least, the more powerful "Authentic '64 Medium C" neck profile conjures up the usual classic feel in the style of the Gibson solidbody guitars of the late fifties.
