With the Ortega RCE238L SN FT Lefthand the manufacturer Ortega extends its extensive program for lefthanders with a 4/4 concert guitar, which has a pickup system and an eye-catching appearance besides high-quality materials. A solid Sitka spruce top provides clear mid and treble frequencies, so that every single tone stands out clearly from the others and fades out long lasting in the treble frequencies. For the body construction the manufacturer uses a thin mahogany laminate, which enriches the sound with warm bass frequencies. Maximum playing comfort is provided by a flat mahogany neck with a slim saddle width of 48 mm, which, in combination with a generous cutaway, can be accommodatingly reached even in the highest of the 19 frets. The absolute highlight is the head plate, which, due to its special shape, allows a straight string positioning, thus ensuring greater tuning stability. An Ortega-MagusPro pickup system with integrated tuner also ensures a natural sound on stage and can be easily and individually adjusted via a 3-band equalizer.
