However, the ability to switch between two different views also makes this TouchMix-30 PRO very interesting for professional users. The "Easy Mode" is intended for, as the name suggests, beginners and automatically controls various details for you. Meanwhile the "Extended Mode" is for more advanced users who wish to be able to adjust the attack and release times of the compressors or gates used, as well as all the other details within the mix. The TouchMix compact digital mixers are standalone and can operate completely independently from a computer, tablet or external monitor. All settings can be easily controlled via the colour/multi-touch display together with the large encoder wheel. Frequently used functions can be accessed via the programmable hardware buttons. TouchMix can also be operated remotely. Using an external router (not included) a WLAN connection can be created, and all parameters can then be remote controlled via an iOS or Android device. In addition, the TouchMix-30 PRO allows you to record all of the channels as well as the stereo mixes either onto a USB stick or an external hard drive. All of this is done without the use of computer. Data is stored in 32-bit wave files and can be imported into the mixer again for a virtual sound-check. This allows you to easily create recordings, which can then be edited with DAW software.
