Three-way coaxial studio monitor with Firtec technology The KS-Digital C88-Reference Black Monitor R is a three-way active studio monitor with an 8" carbon fibre woofer and a second coaxial 8" carbon fibre driver with a 1.45" neodymium tweeter in the centre that deals with the high and mid-range frequencies. The speakers are powered by an 80W amplifier for the high frequencies and dual 180W amplifiers for the mid and low range frequencies. The C88-Reference is a full-range midfield speaker with a frequency response of 35Hz-28kHz. The amplifiers can drive the cones up to 112dB before distortion occurs, meaning these speakers can handle just about any source material you can throw at them!
