Selected Alder & Quarter Sawn Maple With its body made of two selected pieces of alder, the Fender '67 Telecaster Relic CC RW Lake Placid Blue follows the tried and tested Tele recipe and produces a solid basic character that contributes to the model's typical sound. The Quarter Sawn Maple neck is mounted over the 4-bolt joint, which evokes a classic feel for the fretting hand with its oval C-back shape in the style of the sixties. The basic construction of the Fender '67 Telecaster Relic CC RW is completed by a high-quality rosewood fingerboard in AAA quality with 21 narrow-tall frets and dot markers made of genuine mother-of-pearl. '67 Telecaster Pickups & Modern Tele Wiring To capture the sound of 1967 like no pickup set before, the Fender Custom store developed the '67 Telecaster Single-Coil. The single coil is naturally used in neck and bridge versions as part of the '67 Telecaster Relic CC RW and delivers absolutely everything a die-hard Tele fan's heart desires: clear, wiry twang at the bridge and a distinctive growl in the neck position. The Output remains transparent and offers an honest sound that knows how to translate every riff and lick with plenty of nuance.
