However, it is equipped with a dual diaphragm, which allows for a wider range of polar patterns and makes the microphone a true all-rounder in the studio and on stage. As a matched pair, the set enables high-quality stereo recordings, with microphones matched to each other. What does the sE4400a offer me? The sE4400a offers four different polar patterns - omnidirectional, cardioid, hypercardioid and figure-of-eight - a low-cut filter with two selectable operating frequencies (60Hz and 120Hz) and a two-stage switchable pad (-10dB / -20dB). Despite its small dimensions, the housing accommodates a 1" double diaphragm as well as high-quality electronics and switches. Compact and inconspicuous At less than 1.9cm thick, the sE electronics sE 4400a is extremely thin and fits comfortably in the palm of your hand. The low-profile, rounded housing design allows the microphone to be mounted close to the guitar cabinet or flat over the drum head. It is equally perfect for vocals or voice over. The microphone is also encased in a black, low-reflection, low-contour rubberized finish, making this all-rounder ideal for a wide range of applications where illumination and unobtrusiveness of the microphone are important - on stage, in theaters, and in TV and broadcast applications.
