The lavishly equipped sequencer has no preset memory and therefore requires constant interaction to create new music. Primarily, the module generates two times eight control voltages, which run sequentially, and each voltage regulator can be switched on/off/slide. The four different sequences and their variations result from changing the loop points and running direction for each track. What seems "unspectacular" with four tracks, all steps ON, forward direction, loop 1-8, becomes all the more interesting and lively as soon as these parameters are varied. The inputs and outputs play an even greater role in this sequencer, because some of them link adjacent banks (1+3, 2+4) with each other and realise patterns with up to 16 steps or mix banks (1+2, 3+4) that lie on top of each other and generate different voltages. As the sequencer has its own clock generator, the module is able to run independently and synchronise other modules. On the input side, the module can be synchronised via a MIDI-to-CV/Gate/Sync interface. The sequencer is great fun and a real gem for anyone who likes to create complex patches with simple means. One CV bank for the oscillators, the other for modulating the filter and wavefolder, the four Gate outputs activate envelopes and reset LFOs... you can let off steam creatively with this control centre!
