One of the most difficult issues in the development of the GED-2112 was to compress Geddy's extensive on-stage rack equipment into a manageable device with just one treble unit without compromising sound or function. The sound of the GED-2112 remains true to the signature sound of its forefather and convinces with pushing fat low-end and the right amount of compression for Geddy's nimble finger play. Dual Parallel Pre-Amping The SansAmp Geddy Lee Signature has two separate internal preamplifiers connected in parallel. Both circuits are completely analog and separate the drive from the deep section, combining the GED-2112 RPM-like drive sounds with the solid foundation of the deep preamp. The equalizer curve also follows Geddy's sound preferences, but thanks to semi-parametric 3-band EQ with Mid Sweep control, it can be precisely tuned to your own sound preferences. Connections for every occasion On the back, the SansAmp Geddy Lee Signature offers extensive connection options for modern stage and studio environments. Besides separate balanced and unbalanced outputs for drive and deep section in XLR and jack format, the preamp offers an effect loop and two separate inputs. There is also an Uneffected output for the pure signal and a separate output for tuners on the rear panel, which overrides the separate inputs A and B by using the front input.
