The Hagstrom Swede with Crimson Flame finish is a true classic from the lineup of Swedish guitar maker Hagstrom. Following the proven singlecut design, the construction relies on a resonant glue joint between the mahogany neck and body, while the innovative H-Expander truss rod provides wide-ranging adjustability and long-lasting playability. As pickup two Lundgren Design Medium Output Alnico 2 humbuckers are used, which transport classic Alnico warmth and provide an enormously wide sound and even create shimmering single-coil sounds through coil split via push/pull tone controls. Otherwise, the Hagstrom Swede is composed of solid Hardware in the form of a precisely adjustable Tune-o-Matic bridge with Sustain block tailpiece, GraphTech Black Tusq XL nut and solid Hagstrom Design Locking tuners with 19:1 ratio. Completing Hagstrom's singlecut electric guitar is the chic curly maple top, the grain of which shines through the red Crimson Flame finish. The Nape-Tenon neck joint with generous body cutaway creates ideal playing conditions and accessibility to the higher frets. Thus, the "Nape-Tenon" glue joint of mahogany body and neck provides for rich Sustain and extra stability. Furthermore, the Resinator wood fingerboard provides the ideal foundation against dead spots and delivers a particularly stable sound. Of course, the Swede Crimson Flame does not lack the patented H-Expander truss rod, which ensures precise adjustment of the neck. Six Hagstrom locking tuners promise absolute tuning stability with a 19:1 ratio.
