Semi-acoustic construction For the construction of the Ibanez Artcore Expressionist AS93BC-BK's body, Ibanez relies on a laminated basswood top and a bocote body, with the back and top joined by a solid center block. Accordingly, the electric guitar delivers a particularly resonant sound without tending to feedback at high volumes. At the same time, the slim AS neck made of maple and nyatoh offers high playability for all playing techniques.
