Features of the Giant FASTROAD AR ADVANCED 1 - Carbon Fitness Bike An advanced carbon frame and fork make the bike 350g lighter than the aluminum version. A stiffer bottom bracket area improves power transmission so you can accelerate and climb faster with less effort. Powerful disc brakes offer maximum control in all conditions. The combination of a D-Fuse carbon seatpost and an Ergo-Contact saddle helps you to master rough roads. The flat handlebar frame geometry ensures a more upright riding position and safe handling. The large-volume 40 mm tubeless tires offer the freedom and versatility to ride on smooth roads, bumpy cycle paths or gravel. Technologies of the Giant FASTROAD AR ADVANCED 1 Advanced Composite - GIANT's high-performance carbon fiber is used to produce this special carbon frame material, which is woven and processed in-house and has an excellent stiffness-to-weight ratio. The front frame triangle is molded as a single piece. The modified monocoque construction eliminates the outer braided composite layer. This reduces weight without compromising ride quality, stability or stiffness. D-Fuse - The seatpost and handlebars with D-Fuse technology are designed to work as a system, absorbing shocks and vibrations from the road so you can ride further and faster. OverDrive - The original oversized steerer tube from GIANT. Built for steering precision, the extra-large headset bearings (1 1/4" bottom, 1 1/8" top) and tapered steerer provide optimum stiffness in the front end.
