The elegant food smoker RC-FS870 is designed for professional use in catering establishments, be it restaurants, inns, hotels or agriturismo businesses. The electric smoker box can be used for cold, warm and hot smoking of various products, including cheese, sausages, poultry and game as well as fish. In order to achieve perfect results, the device is designed for continuous operation and has a timer function. Due to a selectable time span of 0 - 120 minutes, you can prepare your smoked food to the minute. An alarm signal sounds as soon as the preset time has elapsed. If the desired degree of browning has not yet been achieved after the first run, the timer on the smoke box can be set again. Our recommendation: Let the fish dry well before smoking it. Only then does the fish achieve its typical golden-brown smoky colour. During the entire smoking process, a thermometer on the side of the case shows you the temperature inside the fish smoker in a range of 0 - 135 °C. This means you always have an eye on the cooking process and can make adjustments if necessary. The temperature range allows hot smoking (52 - 80 °C) and smoking (over 82 °C). You can regulate the temperature with a handy knob. You can reliably smoke and cook fish, game, spare ribs etc. or refine cheese, tofu or eggs with a fine smoked aroma. The minimum temperature depends on the ambient temperature. The temperature is given in Celsius and Fahrenheit. With the supplied accessories, you can smoke fish, cheese and meat both vertically and horizontally. For vertical smoking, hang the food on hooks. For horizontal smoking, the package contains 4 racks on which you can smoke delicate and small ingredients horizontally. The minimum distance between two grates is 11 cm. You can easily refill wood chips from the outside via an opening on the Stainless steel meat smoker, without having to open the door. The ash that is gathered ends up in a container below the ember pan. Dripping fat is caught in a drip tray so that you can dispose of the fat residue in a few simple steps. To enable a safe smoking process and easy maintenance, the smoker is made of durable Stainless steel. The material is corrosion and temperature resistant and easy to clean. The door of the smoker box is closed with metal clips. This means that it remains securely closed during the smoking process. Whether cured pork fillet with a strong smoky aroma or salmon with a fine herbal note – with the smoking oven RC-FS870 from Royal Catering there are no limits to your culinary imagination.
