“Long” version of the ManuLoc Rhizo orthosis, ManuLoc Rhizo Long is a long rigid brace indicated for thewrist immobilization with thumb fixation. Stabilizes the wrist, thumb and most of the forearm, thus alleviating pain due to inflammatory conditions, trauma and surgical interventions. The design of the orthosis supports multi-stage therapy: During treatment, the thumb support may be initially loosened and then completely removed as the patient recovers physically. ManuLoc Rhizo long is a combination of our ManuLoc long hand orthosis and our RhizoLoc thumb orthosis. With its long lever, it completely immobilizes the wrist joint. Its anatomical aluminum splints can be further adapted by an orthopedic technician. Get back in shape faster The Velcro tab on the thumb allows for gradual mobilization of the basal joint, to restore mobility as quickly as possible, after which the thumb support can be completely removed. This will allow grasping movements with all fingers again; all this while ensuring wrist stabilization. The breathable material with integrated holes allows optimal skin transpiration, thus avoiding sweating and itching of the thumb and wrist joint. The Velcro closure system allows the orthosis to be put on and taken off with maximum ease using the other hand.
