The galvanised steel automatic poultry feeder protects the feed from wind and weather so that it can always be fed to the chickens in optimal condition. With a capacity of 11.5 kg, there's no need to be constantly refilling the container, and your poultry will have plenty of food available at all times. The treadle chicken feeder opens when the chickens step onto the footboard. The board is moved by the weight of the chicken, which must be greater than 400 g, and the feed is dispensed from the container into the feeding trough. This ensures that exactly the amount of chicken feed is dispensed that is currently needed. This also prevents wild animals from stealing the chickens' feed. If there is no chicken on the footboard, the feed dispenser remains closed. The footboard is made of embossed aluminium.
