The transmission consists of a chainring with 40 teeth and a cassette with 13 sprockets, with 9 to 42 teeth. With the gear ratio range of just under 470 percent, all speed ranges are largely covered, and even steeper climbs are easy to tackle thanks to the reduction in first gear, the low overall weight and the bike's sporty orientation.
