Smart Assist GIANT's PedalPlus 6-sensor technology is used in the SyncDrive motor technology and has an additional tilt sensor and acceleration sensor. While the PedalPlus 6 sensor technology can detect inclines, it also offers an automatic Smart Assist mode function that allows the rider a more effortless riding experience. This new sensor technology calculates the amount of torque, cadence, incline and speed and determines the amount of motor power the rider needs based on these calculations.
