Achieving this low weight meant strategic redistribution of material from the rear of the bike to the front, with super-fine seat stays and thinner chain stays, while also amping up the shape of the head tube to create the more aerodynamic front-end. The Specialissima offers the same climbing fun you know and love, but with improved aerodynamics and a level of stiffness rarely found in such a lightweight bike. Countervail technology The Bianchi CV Vibration Cancelling System combines viscoelastic material with a special carbon fiber architecture to disperse vibrations. The benefits to the rider are more control, less muscle fatigue and more energy. Bianchi CV suppresses 80% of vibrations while increasing the stiffness and strength of carbon frames and forks. Tested in all racing situations. Conventional passive damping in frames with superficial rubber inserts and isolators are only partially effective compared to the integrated vibration cancelling system developed by Bianchi for cycling and tested in extreme conditions.
