Syncros Duncan SL Aero CFT The patented Syncros Duncan SL Aero CFT seatpost is a key feature of the bike. It not only improves riding comfort on uneven roads, but also enables efficient power transmission on light gravel or cobblestones. The two-part structure with a load-bearing front carbon section ensures that the seat post flexes in a controlled manner when subjected to shocks, effectively absorbing impacts. Lower seat stays for comfort All Foil RC models are equipped with lower seat stays. This design increases riding comfort and reduces air resistance at the same time. The seat stays are aligned at an angle of 10° to direct the airflow into the rotating spokes. Aerodynamic tests have shown that this detail significantly increases efficiency when moving forward. In addition, the lower seat stays conceal the disc brake callipers, which further minimizes drag and creates a clear, harmonious design line. Oversized head tube The large head tube of the Foil RC allows fully integrated cable routing for both mechanical and electronic shifting. At the same time, it makes a significant contribution to aerodynamics. It divides the oncoming airflow and reduces air resistance while riding. Lightweight construction with optimized carbon layout After analysing and testing over 300 different frame designs, the SCOTT engineers developed an optimized carbon layer structure. This allowed the number of carbon parts and joints to be reduced by 30% compared to the previous Foil. Precise design details, such as the seat stays and the seat clamp, enable an additional weight saving of 9% without compromising structural rigidity.
