Highlights of the Orbea OCCAM SL M10 - 29" Carbon Mountain Bike Lock On The Go -With the Occam SL, Orbea brings the remote lockout to the trail bike. Never before have you locked and unlocked your shock so quickly and easily. Once you've tried it, you'll never want to go back. Suspension - Modern trail bikes are used for impressively versatile rides. Some riders climb climbs that are thousands of meters long, while others do lap after lap in bike parks, with endless jumps. With its suspension fork and damping in the rear triangle, the Occam is ready for any adventure. OMR carbon frame - The OMR frames (Orbea Monocoque Race) are the only ones that combine high-modulus fibers with high-strength fibers. The prepreg sheets of pre-impregnated carbon are laser-cut to minimize excess before a lengthy process of preforming achieves optimal compaction with the least amount of material. Thanks to the mold consisting entirely of expanded polystyrene (EPS), wrinkles and cavities are avoided. LOCKR - The Lockr system is a compartment integrated into the frame for tools, food and co. Carbon shock extension - The carbon shock extension ensures maximum stiffness with minimum weight. Details like this make the Occam so light and ensure strong handling and first-class propulsion. Asymmetric - Strength - The right-sided support reinforces and stiffens an area that is exposed to high stress. Instead of using a less effective "shock tunnel", the Occam's structure redirects the shock to the left side of the frame, allowing the asymmetric support to take a more direct path. This straight line, which follows the shock absorber structure, is the most effective way to neutralize the suspension forces in the front triangle. Asymmetric - Ergonomics and balance - The asymmetric offset design brings unique advantages that go beyond stiffness and weight savings.
