Sandberg Forty Eight with classic construction For the construction of the Forty Eight E-Bass Sandberg uses classic woods and the bolt-on construction with 34" scale length (864 mm). The strikingly designed body is made of alder, while the six-way bolt-on neck is made of maple and carries a 22-fret Pau Ferro fretboard. The flat "C" neck profile also promises buttery smooth playing characteristics. Under the mighty nickel caps are a power humbucker and a split coil, which together with the 2-band EQ provide for brute rock sounds.
