As part of the modular Generation 4 microphone system, it delivers a particularly natural and transparent sound reproduction. Thanks to its PE diaphragm technology and compact design, the M42 is ideal for studio recordings, acoustic measurements and situations where an even room sound is required. Flexible working in a modular system The M 42 is fully compatible with the MV 400 microphone amplifier and other capsules such as the M 40 (cardioid), M 41 (supercardioid) and M 43 (wide cardioid). The modular concept allows the capsules to be changed quickly, allowing the microphone setup to be optimally adapted to different requirements. Detailed sound reproduction and high dynamic range With a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20 kHz, a sensitivity of 15 mV/Pa and a dynamic range of 132 dB, the M 42 impresses with maximum precision. Even extreme sound pressure levels of up to 145 dB SPL are processed reliably and without distortion.
