The bolt-on maple neck impresses with extremely great playability over the bass strings vibrating with a classic long scale, while the fretless fingerboard guarantees the singing fretless sound with indulgent sound development. In addition, the thumb rest promises a high level of playing comfort. With a Lace Sensor low-profile pickup and the RMC piezo system, Godin A4 delivers versatile bass sounds. While volume and tone controls provide the usual control over the magnetic pickup, the piezo features an active preamp with 3-band EQ whose controls are located in the upper section. Thanks to Synth Access, the Piezo system also allows you to control a bass synthesizer via a 13-pin cable, with Program Up and Program Down switches and a Synth Volume fader.
