The Catalina Club Studio Drums exude absolute vintage feeling without sacrificing modern features and above all contemporary sound, equipped with Remo heads and the new Gretsch hardware, it develops a modern sound character with a sophisticated retro touch. The mahogany shells sound warm and create a projection-rich sound with harmonious overtones and amazing basses. Gretsch renewed the color palette and offers new, extraordinary finishes for the Catalina Club series. Gretsch Catalina Catalina Club CT1-J404: Classic sound with modern elements The 7-ply mahogany shells of the Gretsch Catalina Club Studio CT1-J404 with the typical 30° bearing edge sound wonderfully reflected and harmonious. The dark basic character of Gretsch mahogany shells is complemented by the matching overtones, resulting in a warm sound, characterized by attack and dynamics. The triple flanged hoops on snare and toms guarantee the necessary tuning reliability and a defined tone. Typical Gretsch drum shell hardware The Mini GTS Tom suspension is in contact with the shell in only two places, which results in maximum sustain of the high-quality mahogany shell. The tom holder included in the scope of delivery is screwed into the stylish "Gas Cap" rosette and also offers the possibility of mounting an optionally available cymbal arm directly next to the rack tom. The Gretsch Catalina Club CT1-J404 is equipped with Remo Ambassador heads, which guarantee great and long-lasting sound right from the start.
