With its timeless vintage charm, it combines classic aesthetics with modern features and a dynamic sound that leaves nothing to be desired. The seven-ply mahogany shells covered with Remo skins with a 30° shell ridge produce a warm sound that impresses with clear overtones and powerful basses. Classic sounds, interpreted in a modern way The 7-ply mahogany shells of the Catalina Club CT1-M264 with the characteristic 30° shell ridge offer a harmonious sound structure with reflected overtones. The dark sound of the Gretsch Formula Mahogany is complemented by clear Attack and high dynamics, resulting in a balanced, warm sound. The triple-flanged hoops on the snare and Toms ensure perfect tuning stability and defined sounds. Typical Gretsch Hardware for optimized resonance The mini GTS tom suspension keeps contact with the shell to a minimum to maximize the freedom of vibration of the mahogany shells. The included tom holder fits perfectly into the stylish "gas cap" rosette and offers space for an optional cymbal arm right next to the suspended tom. The Catalina Club Jazz is factory-fitted with durable Remo Ambassador heads, which ensure a stable, reliable sound right from the start.
