The SX 300 E follows this tradition and convinces with its modern design, contemporary features and superior performance. High performance at low weight The Electro Voice SX 300 E is robustly built and, thanks to its compact polypropylene housing, a lightweight of only 14.5 kg. With a pulse output of up to 1200 watts and a continuous output of 300 watts, the SX 300 E has enough reserves for impressive performances. Approximately the same tonal results can be achieved with 300 to 450 watts. If particularly high sound pressure levels are not required, 150 to 200 watts of power amplifier output will suffice. The SX 300 E can generate a maximum sound pressure of 131 dB. The speakers used are a 12" woofer and a 1.25" tweeter with titanium diaphragm. The tweeter is coupled to the room by a constant-directivity horn with a dispersion angle of 65° vertically and horizontally. This ensures a homogeneous dispersion of high frequencies, both horizontally and vertically. The housing is made of a specially developed polypropylene foam. This foam has similar acoustic properties to wood at a lower weight and can be easily shaped into any desired form. Therefore the symmetrically radiating horn could be realised as part of the cabinet. A compact power pack for various applications The recessed handle makes it easy to transport and mount on speaker stands. The 60° bevel on both sides is not only designed for use as a stage monitor, but also allows the installation in various speaker array combinations by means of optionally available mounting brackets. The rear connector panel offers two Neutrik NL4 Speakon connectors connected in parallel for looping the power amp signal through to another Electro Voice SX 300 E Whether as a club system with subwoofer support, standalone for small to medium-sized rooms, as a stage monitor, or in different array arrangements, the SX 300 E is suitable for a wide variety of PA tasks. With a superb peak power handling of 1200 Watts, dynamic response and precise output is guaranteed. Thanks to its low weight, the compact full-range loudspeaker can be easily handled by one person.
