The K series is a further development of the original cymbals, that was created by Kerope Zildjian as far back as the 19th century. The sound character of this cymbal is low, dry and shimmering. The complex hammering and the fine lathing refine the cymbals from the K Series to versatile instruments with a large range of high and low frequencies, which can sound mild or intense depending on playing style. The 22" K Light Ride features the same "smoky" sound and excellent stick definition of the 24" model but in a smaller, more controllable size.
