Gretsch G5655TG Electromatic Center Block Jr. Bigsby (Cadillac Green) The Gretsch G5655TG Electromatic Center Block Jr. Bigsby (Cadillac Green) is a 6-string single-cut instrument with a chambered Spruce centre block and Bigsby B70 tailpiece. The G5655TG produces classic Gretsch tones using a pair of Black Top Broad'Tron humbuckers in neck and bridge position, which excel when used at high volumes. The 5655TG Electromatic is complemented by gold hardware with a Graph Tech Nubone saddle, vintage-style die-cast tuners and an Adjusto-Matic bridge in gold finish. The G5655TG has a body made of Maple laminate alongside a Maple neck and Laurel fingerboard. The Maple neck is connected by a glued joint, and its thin 'U' profile is slightly slimmer, underlining classical techniques from finger picking to chord playing. The 2x blacktop Broad'Tron humbuckers are a staple among Gretsch instruments and produce powerful double coil sounds with a clear midrange note. The output of both pick-ups is tuned to each other in order to provide balanced sounds even in the intermediate position.
