VR Microphone with 8 Capsules The Voyage Audio Spatial Mic is a powerful tool for the professional recording of 3D spatial sounds and their conversion into binaural VR tracks. Unlike traditional analogue solutions, with the Spatial Mic you don't have to manually decode the audio tracks of the 8 fine resolution capsules thanks to modern software technology but can leave this task to Voyage Audio's plug-in: It is compatible with any VST- or AAX-enabled DAW and allows you to smoothly crossfade between the different polar patterns and virtual sound directions. You can separately align each of the 3 room axes in your virtual room and thus freely define the perceived location. High-quality technology Thanks to the ability to power the Spatial Mic via USB, you're also completely mobile and can easily record from this technology even when recording outdoors or in a special-sounding room, such as a church or hall, without having to lug around a rack of transducers and preamps. Unlike conventional USB microphones, the Spatial Mic incorporates only high-quality technology, so you don't have to compromise on the sound quality or authenticity of your recordings. Alternatively, you can connect the Spatial Mic via ADAT to an interface of your choice and integrate it into your studio setup along with other conventional microphones.
