The absolute Yamaha flagship series "PHX" was set for this perfectly shaped Hybrid Maple Model. 2 woods are connected to an exquisite shell to create the maximum expression and sound diversity. The result is remarkable: the finest Canadian maple coated on both sides to a solid core of Wenge, an African hardwood lends to a resulting sound that is extremely articulate and precise. This drum is characterized by an outstanding speech on each beat. Clear and precise in speech, with an incredible dynamism and a great walnut-finish, the Absolute Maple hybrid bass drum represents a perfect acquisition for advanced and professional drummers with certain needs.
