Gibson 1958 Les Paul Standard in authentic construction Constructed using traditional methods, the 1958 Les Paul Reissue features a one-piece mahogany body topped with a plain maple top, just like the originals from the late 1950s. The set-in mahogany neck is attached using a long neck tenon and bonded with hide glue, enhancing tonal transfer and long-term stability.
