It's no surprise that this short-scale acoustic bass, which is especially easy to play, offers the best features for a handy bass on the go and delivers impressive sound volume despite its compact size. Ortega uses a solid spruce top paired with a body made of flamed mahogany, providing a particularly comfortable playing position thanks to the added armrest. Also included is a complete pickup system with Ortega's own MagusX/B preamp. Its 3-band equalizer offers frequency bands specially tuned for the bass, along with an integrated tuner to keep you perfectly in tune at all times.
