The Set is based on the SH-4 JB and SH-1n '59 humbuckers as used on the recordings for the breakthrough album Rust in Peace, and features additional low-end and more aggressive trebles in the bridge position. Both pickups are controlled by the Custom Dave Mustaine Wiring, which provides two separate volume controls for both pickups and an additional Master Tone.
