Seal food quickly and lock in all-important moisture and flavour with the Le Creuset Signature Chambray Cast Iron 26cm Square Grillit. It produces the most succulent food as cast iron reaches a high heat on a low to medium setting and once hot it will stay hot, sealing the outside of your food very quickly as you add it to the pan. It is a very healthy way of cooking too, as the cooking fat drains away and collects below the ribs. These ribs also produce professional sear lines by caramelising the surface of the food where it comes into contact with the ribs. Setting the Signature Square Grillit apart is its convenient helper handle, which offers extra stability when lifting a full pan. Spouts on two sides allow for drip-free pouring. The Grillit is coated with Le Creuset's specialist satin black enamel finish. Very durable and easy to clean, the satin black enamel interior has been specially designed to protect the pan (no seasoning is required) and is ideal for searing and grilling foods such as meat, fish and vegetables. Over time, it develops a natural patina that is ideal for searing and frying. The Le Creuset Square Grillit is suitable for use on all hob types (including induction), in the oven, under the grill and on the barbecue, giving maximum versatility. Handcrafted at the Le Creuset foundry in northern France, Le Creuset cast iron cookware works efficiently at low to medium cooking temperatures and retains heat effectively, ensuring food stays warm for longer.
