Left or right handed chefs and home cooks can use the Global Ukon range, thanks to the ambidextrous thumb rests that sit closely to the blade, supporting control and efficiently. Each Global Ukon knife has a dual surface textured handle, the underside of the handle features Global's trademark indentations, making the Ukon range extremely comfortable to work with. The Global Ukon Series Santoku Knife is perfect for an array of food preparation, including chopping, slicing and dicing of ingredients such as vegetables, meat and fish. The word Santoku means ‘three qualities’ in Japanese and some would say this relates this to the three key prepping TechnIQues mentioned above.
