It can be used freestanding or through the centre hole of a compatible dining table, making it a flexible option for most patio layouts. The 230gsm polyester canopy carries a UV protection rating of 50+ and a fade resistance of level 5, keeping its colour consistent through extended outdoor use. For routine canopy care, we recommend the Golden Care Fabrics and Upholstery Care Kit. A vented canopy design allows air to pass through rather than build up underneath, improving stability in the wind without compromising shade coverage. The aluminium frame is powder-coated for corrosion resistance and the 38mm pole fits through most standard dining tables. Opening and closing is handled by a crank handle system, making operating a full 3m x 2m parasol easy and smooth. The tilt function allows you to adjust the angle of shade as the sun moves throughout the day. When not in use, the 3m x 2m rectangular parasol cover is designed specifically to fit this model. A 15kg concrete parasol base is required and sold separately. If used through a compatible dining table, a 15kg base is sufficient. For freestanding use, a minimum base weight of 40kg is recommended.
