The Styx 3m X 2m Rectangular Deluxe Wooden Parasol in Beige is a sturdy parasol that is easy to use thanks to the simple double pulley rope system. This deluxe parasol is reinforced with a strong ribbed frame. This Styx parasol has a 48mm pole which showcases the strength of this particular parasol. The canopy is manufactured from a 230gsm polyester canopy which is rot resistant, however we recommend our Golden Care Fabrics & Upholstery Care Kit for regular cleaning, to prevent stains and protect against the elements. In addition, the leather overlay and metal fixings where the rib meets the pocket will stop the ribs from damaging the canopy. The Styx range is manufactured from Eucalyptus wood which is environmentally sourced and in addition stronger than standard hardwoods. Please note the weighted base is not included with the parasol. In addition a minimum weight of 50 - 70kg is required if the parasol is to be used free standing. If the parasol is going to be used in conjunction with a table then a 25kg base will suffice.
