Description

Aluminum Foil Tape is made from 2 mil thick, high-tensile aluminum foil with a removable paper liner. This powerful tin foil and tape combination outperforms standard tapes for the most demanding jobs. Because this tape's acrylic adhesive coating uses the formula, it can be applied at low temperatures and adheres at a wider temperature range than other tapes. If you're planning on attending Burning Man, you should know that you can use aluminum foil tape to cover over and seal the seams of your shelter. It can withstand high winds, temperature swings, sandstorms and physical abuse. The tin foil flexibility comes in handy on curved or irregular surfaces. Tape rolls are typically cut to standard tape industry metric-cut sizes - or approx 5% narrower than the nominal size (i.e. 24mm per 1-inch of nominal width ordered). Adhesive: solvent-based acrylic. Carrier/Backing: aluminum foil. Release Liner: paper. Thickness: 3.6 mils (carrier, adhesive) 1.6 mils (adhesive) 2 mils (carrier).
