Cosmetically this item would be placed within our good condition rating. Please Note: electronic failure. The lens is exhibiting intermittent electronic and mechanical malfunctions. When mounted to a compatible Sony E-mount camera, it frequently emits a continuous "tick-tick-tick" sound. In many cases, the camera fails to establish consistent communication with the lens — aperture values intermittently disappear (displaying "F--" instead of the correct f-stop), autofocus becomes non-functional, and the lens becomes unresponsive. Occasionally, cycling the battery or disconnecting and remounting the lens temporarily restores partial functionality, but the issue consistently returns. The ticking sound persists even when the lens is recognized, and in most cases, the aperture and AF systems are unusable. For this reason is sold as spare and repair.
