Lindy 47912 SFP Port Lock 10-pack With the Lindy SFP Port Blocker Key, users can quickly block open SFP ports and easily prevent unauthorized individuals from connecting cables or devices, or inserting foreign objects. This helps protect against unauthorized access to a network or system and prevents accidental or malicious damage to the ports. It can also serve as a visual indicator of inactive or disconnected ports, making it ideal for use in schools, offices, or other public areas. The semi-permanent SFP Port Blocker consists of a molded plastic cap that is securely inserted into the SFP port using a special insertion key. The blocker is inserted into the SFP port like a network cable and remains in place until it is removed with the insertion key. To use, simply attach a blocker to the key and insert it into the port. Hold the blocker in position and remove the key. To remove, just reinsert the key into the blocker until it clicks, and pull it out. Safety Notice: The port blocker serves only as a simple physical and visual deterrent against tampering. It cannot prevent a determined attacker from gaining physical access to an SFP port.
