Lindy 43353 USB 3.0 Active Extension Cable, 3m The Lindy USB 3.0 Active Extension uses active electronics to extend the cable length of a USB 3.0 device by 3m. It still supports data transfer rates up to 5Gbit/s. This active cable overcomes potential distance and performance limitations of standard USB cables with their length limitations. The USB 3.0 active extension with USB plug type A and USB socket type A allows the connection and flexible positioning of USB devices type A such as storage media or webcams at a greater distance from PCs, laptops and tablets. In doing so, up to 4 active extensions can be connected in series up to a distance of 12m. The Lindy USB 3.0 Active Extension is compatible with computers with USB Type A connector. The slim design of the housing also allows installation in confined spaces. The USB active extension has a DC jack for connecting a power supply (5V 2A, not included) for devices with high power requirements.
