Lindy 40922 Active Mini DisplayPort to HDMI Adapter Cable The Lindy Mini DisplayPort to HDMI active adapter cable allows you to connect a 4K@60Hz HDMI display or projector to a device with Mini DisplayPort output. This active cable converts single and dual mode Mini DisplayPort output signals, increasing compatibility with most graphics cards. The cable supports resolutions up to 4096x2160@60Hz, as well as High Dynamic Range (HDR), so 4K content is reproduced with crystal-clear quality, enhanced contrast and lifelike colours - perfect for eye-catching retail displays, a cutting-edge work environment or an immersive video experience in sports bars or home cinema. Uncompressed multi-channel audio allows for immersive 3D surround sound. It also supports AMD Eyefinity technology, providing a cost-effective way to generate a non-standard aspect ratio or create an Ultra HD video wall consisting of 3 or more monitors. This technology also allows multiple applications to run simultaneously on different screens, increasing productivity. The MiniDP to HDMI cable is available in lengths up to 3m. Please note that audio output via HDMI is only supported if the graphics card of the notebook or PC supports audio output via DisplayPort. Some onboard graphics cards, e.g. in the Mobile Intel 4 Series Express chipset in notebooks, do not support audio output via DisplayPort - even if HDMI support (Intel High Definition Audio HDMI Service) for audio controllers has been installed. In such cases, a separate audio connection must be set up. Please note that some of the new Nvidia drivers do not work correctly with 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 when converting from DP/miniDP to HDMI. It is possible that only a resolution of 4K@60Hz 4:2:2 is achieved.
