Lindy 43352 USB 3.2 Active Extension Cable The Lindy USB 3.2 Gen 1 Active Extension uses active electronics to extend the cable length of a USB 3.2 device by 3m. It still supports data transfer rates up to 5Gbit/s. This active cable overcomes potential distance and performance limitations of standard USB cables with their length limitations. The USB 3.2 Active Extension with twist-proof USB plug type C and USB socket type A enables the connection of devices with USB plug type A, e.g. memory sticks, cameras or smartphones, at a greater distance of 3m without reducing the data transfer rate. The USB 3.2 Active Extension is ideal for use with a permanently installed webcam in a meeting room, for example, or when repeated access to a device is difficult. The Lindy USB 3.2 Active Extension is compatible with computers with USB 3.2 Type C or Thunderbolt 3 ports, making it the perfect extension tool for newer notebooks, Macbooks and PCs with USB Type C ports. The Lindy USB 3.2 Active Extension is powered via the USB bus, but also features a USB Micro-B jack for connecting a power adapter (not included) for devices with high power requirements. Please note that USB Power Delivery and DisplayPort Alternate Mode are not supported.
