Lindy 43308 Active USB-Cable, 5m USB active cables enable bridging of larger distances between two USB devices. These cables with integrated active electronics amplify the signal and ensure fast data transfer. This Lindy USB 3.1 Gen 2 active cable uses integrated, active electronics to extend the cable length of a USB 3.1 device by 5m while maintaining data transfer rates up to 10 Gbps. It allows USB Type C devices such as pen drives, smartphones, tablets or high bandwidth devices such as webcams to be connected at a greater distance without reducing data rates. It is ideal when the USB device is located in a hard-to-reach place or when a multiport hub or converter is used at a greater distance, for example. The 5m USB 3.1 Gen 2 C/C active cable also supports Displayport 1.4 Alternate Mode. However, only USB 2.0 with data rates up to 480Mbit/s is supported when transmitting DP 1.4 signals. USB 3.2 Gen 2 with data rates up to 10Gbit/s are achieved when transmitting DP 1.2 signals with resolutions up to 4K 60Hz. The active cable also supports Power Delivery with up to 60W (20V / 3A). It is compatible with computers with USB 3.1 Type-C and Thunderbolt 3 interfaces and is suitable for use with laptops, Macbooks, and PCs with Type-C ports. It supports plug and play and is easy to install. USB 3.0, USB 3.1 & USB 3.2 information: USB 3.0, USB 3.1 and USB 3.2 PCs, cables and peripherals are compatible with each other as long as they use USB Type A or USB Type C interfaces.
