Lindy 38517 Fibre Optic Hybrid HDMI Cable The Lindy fiber optic hybrid cables are a professional solution for extending HDMI signals over longer distances. By combining the flexibility and high EMI and RFI resistance of fiber optic cables with standard copper cables, these hybrid cables are ideal for use in demanding AV setups, commercial displays, or high-performance installations in residential buildings. The internal technology provides uncompressed amplification of the HDMI signal, enabling the extension of HDMI 8K content over long distances, which is simply not possible with passive cables. With a bandwidth of 48Gbps, these cables support HDMI 2.1 resolutions up to 3840x2160@120Hz and 7680x4320 / 10240x4320@60Hz. Content can be displayed at higher refresh rates with incredible detail and clarity, making movies, graphics, or images look their best. In addition to static HDR, HDMI hybrid cables also support dynamic HDR formats such as Dolby Vision and HDR10+. This ensures that every moment of the content, whether scene by scene or even frame by frame, is enhanced with a much wider color range based on the BT.2020 color space, higher peak brightness, deep blacks for optimal contrast, and greater color depth. This is essential for transmitting VOD content, including TV shows and movies, as well as VR and video games, making it ideal for eSports, retail setups, and high-quality home theater installations.
