Lindy 38155 Cat.6 4 Port HDMI Splitter / Extender The Lindy 70m Cat.6 4 Port HDMI & IR Splitter Extender is a plug & play solution for extending an HDMI signal up to 70m and distributing the signal to four displays. An inexpensive Cat.6 U/UTP cable (not included) is used for this purpose. In addition, infrared signals (20-60kHz) can also be extended using the IR receiver and emitter cables included. The splitter extender supports resolutions up to 3840x2160@30Hz 4:4:4 8bit, including 1080p 3D and is designed for use in AV and digital signage applications in the home, education, corporate, retail and healthcare environments. An integrated HDMI loop-through output on the transmitter enables simultaneous display, allowing a local display to be connected for monitoring or an additional display area to be set up. For larger installations, the HDMI loop-through port can also be used to cascade up to 3 transmitters, allowing up to 12 displays to be connected to one source. The HDMI loop-through port also allows the splitter extender to clone the EDID of a connected display. An integrated EDID emulation system provides EDID presets for maximum compatibility with numerous EDID-capable devices. Power over Cable (PoC) guarantees the power supply for the entire installation by connecting a power supply unit to the transmitter - a perfect solution for retrofit installations where, for example, the receiver does not have access to a power socket. The power supply unit with screwable DC hollow plug ensures a secure connection. The compact design of the splitter extender and the integrated mounting brackets facilitate installation in confined spaces or behind flat screens.
